You never see the posse stop to take a pee break.What about the cowboy with a bad case of diarrhea ?

Just a couple of thoughts that used to pass through my mind watching western movies. Also, in most of the Hollywood oaters, the streets were always clean and the horses and cattle never left any patties behind.

iSorry I didn’t get a chance to reply to your post from last night, until this moment,Blessedly, although we live on the coast in Ecuador, we are about as far south of the epicenter and the aftershocks as you can get. Machala was spared any disruption or damage.We we comfortably ensconced in our recliners watching t.v. on Sat. when the house began to shake, rattle and roll. My lovely wife, being younger and more spritely, was up and downstairs to the street in a flash. I wasn’t too far behind !Thank God, we were spared any damage and I think we only slightly felt the first brief aftershock.

We are keeping all those less fortunate to the north of us in our prayers and contributing to send much need water, food and medicines to those communities that have been literally torn apart.

The people of Ecuador are resilient and strong willed. They will get through this, somehow, and move forward.

2016 so far, hasn’t been very kind to folks in my little patch of paradise. Between the financial collapse due to the worldwide petroleum crises, the heavy rain and flooding from el niño, the volcanos spewing ash and mud, and now the earthquake, it’s been a tough year.

If nothing else, it make you appreciate all the more what little you do have and thank whatever God you pray to.
