A strip from back in the days when most reasonable people knew both political parties were just opposite sides of the same coin. Only main concern was to get re-elected and to hell with the general population.
Only difference now if how most people think their party is saintly and the other evil. Reason? Too many people get their news from ideological-based cable news networks (CNN, MSNBC, FOX) whose only purpose is to pander to an extreme viewpoint. It is truly sad how uninformed many Americans are nowadays.
I’d give just about anything to go back to the days of Tip O’Neill and Ted Kennedy. They certainly had their flaws and foibles, but they were nothing compared to the current bunch of fools trying to run things in Congress.

I am bemused at all this longing for “the good old days” of the Reagan presidency. My, my! Attaboy, Ron!
Tip and Ted and company were no better than today’s louts. Society was more polite at some levels then; now, pervasively not so….
