I wonder why Breathed piled on Ferraro, jeez, the poor lady had to deal with playing second fiddle to Mondale and they both had to take on the Gipper and the man behind the curtain Bush 43…….. At least they carried Minnesota……
If you don’t remember Ferraro was supposed to bring in women and Catholics- back then it mattered, but many of her stands on social issues were contrary to the Church’s teachings. when asked about this she declared there was room for differing views and still be a ‘good Catholic’ to which the reactionary Cardinal of NY said “No there isn’t” and she was suddenly caught up in a massive swirl of arguments and counter arguments that promptly clotheslined her effectiveness.

Stripes and poke-dots don’t usually go together, but I think here, Oliver pull it off.

I would love to see an episode of “Where Are They Now” showing what a grown-up Oliver is doing these days.

I’d like a complete series on all stages of Oliver’s life. He’d be as much fun as a geezer as he is as a kid.
