I was impressed a few years ago that the released information about “Little Boy”s construction was intentionally wrong. I think it was 2005 that the real plans were released.

This is actually from a real event in NYC in the late 70’s. A student at NYU actually built a nuclear bomb to prove it could be done. The funny part was different agency’s claiming who should take responsibility for getting it out of the place? NYPD? US army ordinance board? etc

Reminds me of middle school. There was always the kid who did a PhD level project who claimed no help was received by either parent… who happen to MDs or physicists.

Taking our cues from The Gadget at Los Alamos, are we?
