Makes me think of good old Amtrak. I do not know about now but back when this strip first came out there were reports that AmTrak used to dump waste on the track for its longer distance hauls. I guess never boat, fish or swim under a railway trestle….. Considering the number of derailments Amtrak used to have and this problem was likely glossed over. I am certain by now they have dealt with this issue but I have not rode on a long distance train since the ’90s thus I am uncertain.
Ah, but to be hit by penguin poop is of little to no worry. The statistics are amazingly in our favor. Remembering that there has NEVER been a report of people killed by high flying fecal matter from aquatic flightless birds, one would have to imagine that we are safe. And as we’ve been told from great scientist from Washington… “Statistics don’t lie! Follow the science.” Whew!

I remember that NASA kept having trouble with the zero g toilet in the space shuttle.
