Not sure if I would say Mr Donaldson was Mr Sincere, considering all the subsidies he got for his farm while working in the public spotlight including getting the USDA to aid in the eradication of creatures such as prairie dogs, coyotes, bobcats and the like. His protests for more coin to compensate his losses of sheep brought him the attention of the animal rights movements as well as the Green Party but to his credit he did not hide from the facts but tried to defend his position for right or for wrong. Nonetheless the dude was a competent journalist, something rarely found in main stream media today. Trivia fact: he was on the desk of the famed “Nightline” broadcast to announce the resignation of Gorbachev and the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991.
I was going to note some of these don’t age well, but on second thought, they do a fine job of pointing out how things once thought to be important become meaningless with the passage of even a few years. Take note of what REALLY matters in your life, and let the chaff blow away in the wind.
