I smoked for a lot of years, but I always avoided doing it in a restaurant. I figured that having a smoking section in a room was like having a peeing section in a pool.

love watching the old tv shows they smoke anywhere and everywhere

I was a heavy smoker, but if I took a long plane flight, I would ask for no smoking. Couldn’t take plane smog. I could live for 7 hours without a smoke. I worked at a restaurant years before and would be outside throwing out some garbage when the A/C would exhaust. It was like a factory smokestack!!

The air is so much cleaner now, except for the wildfires

A classic. I remember when this strip first came out. I cut it out and put on the refrigerator.

I have never smoked, but the evidence of how hard it is to quit was apparent to me a few weeks ago. A customer pulled up to the drive through at the bank. Her passenger was smoking a cigarette while on oxygen! I really wanted to point out the obvious danger, but I am constrained by the rules. You can bet I got them out of there very quickly.

Some people think their rights trump everyone else’s rights.

If only…I once took my dinner to go because someone was smoking a cigar within smelling distance in a nice restaurant. I’ve never been back.
