One of my faviorite lines.. even if I feel bad for my boy here. It’s one of Berke’s strengths as a writer: he just manages to write things in such a specific way for his punchlines that sounds entirley him. IT’s hard to describe.

Yeah, the Reverend Donald Wildmon was judgmental. He and Jerry Falwell started CBTV, “Coalition for Better Television”. Trying to save Americans from naughty TV shows, forgetting there’s more than one channel and you can turn the thing off. How he would love seeing TV today. A lot of folks who think themselves saved are gong to find out they ain’t.
