Lio’s going to need therapy after that nightmare.

Ive had that dream before…

Here, Lio can be substituted with Calvin.

Worse nightmare for all kids to have.

I remember having almost exactly that same nightmare. Lio. I think Dad might have had those dreams too. He looks rather sympathetic.

I feel your pain, Lio! That is a recurring nightmare, too–doesn’t go away for years and years, if ever!

With all the harrassment he got from bullies last schoolyear, it’s no wonder he’s petrified to go back this year. He needs a ‘one-eyed purple people eater’ to scare them all off….’

Actually, I’m surprised - I always thought of Lio as one of those kids who loved learning. And bullies? If I remember correctly, every encounter with a bully always ended up with Lio on top (with the help of a few undead friends).

BTW, has anyone read “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”? Loved it.

Loving learning and loving school are two very different things, cdward.

Gosh, little Lio is a normal kid after all! In one respect, anyhow.

First time I’ve ever seen Lio cry.

If not, he can always send Ishy over to spray all the textbooks with INK!

Any day there will probably be a note about a 35 year reunion homecoming, & I still have nightmares about having to get up & go to school. I mostly went because it beats daytime TV.

I always thought the only thing worse than school was hell.

I sympathize Lio. But eventually you can look forward to the day trying to enter the workforce & find the jobs have all gone overseas. Maybe you can then get a gig on Ghost Hunters

Not zombies, not aliens, not monsters under the bed – THIS is what it takes to scare Lio. Says a lot about our school system, doesn’t it?

Well I’m only sixty and I’m having those same nightmares for the fifty-fourth time!

I never had those nightmares until about two or three weeks in, when the excitement wore off and my body remembered just how EARLY I had to get up in order to get to school on time (I have a sleep disorder that makes mornings HORRIBLE). School, I loved. The early mornings and certain of the other students? Not so much.

I grew up on a farm. Believe me, I always looked forward to the start of school!
