@Eclectic-1 and @ JastMe, (from yesterday)♦I’m 70. I grew up with tubes. It was easy to build stuff from parts of other things. I collected tons of old radios and TV’s when I was young. My mother and sister refused to go into my room because of all the open electronics in there and the wires everywhere. The basement was full of stuff too.

Sunoco had a dial pump back in the 60’s that allowed you to dial in the octane level you wanted. The last digit was blank. It was for 108 octane “super concentrate”. Basically race gas.
