GRAND AVENUE BY STEVE BREEN & MIKE THOMPSON Michael: I remember this TV series! Gabby: Yeah! I remember we used to watch it when we were little. Michael: I recall how it used to make us laugh. Gabby: I remember the afternoons we spent watching it over and over again. Michael: Hey, Grandma. What was your favorite TV show when you were young? Grandma: I don't remember. I spent most of my time outdoors playing with my friends and exploring the world. Michael: It must be tough not to have childhood memories to reminisce over. Gabby: Yeah, poor Grandma.

I somehow managed to have favourite TV shows AND outdoor fun. Back when we only had three channels there was no watching when noting good was on.The fun part is that now we have channels replaying some of those old series and others are out on DVD.

I feel, at their age, if they’re not out playing, that has more to do with the parents than the children.
