    I hated feather pillows. The points would constantly come through. But I was too young to worry like George Costanza about not carrying pens for fear of puncturing his scrotum.

    A brace is a pair, whether it be ducks, grouse, or dogs doing brace-work—only 2.

    Brace-work is beautiful when it’s done right; it’s also one of the most difficult exercises to pull off. If the dogs walk in step, it’s incredible to watch.
