Not to worry. Trump will make health care great again.

    Abolish Obamacare.Abolish Medicare.Abolish Social Security.

    It’s gonna be great!

…and if anybody does get to the top of the wall, they’ll be in big trouble, because there’ll be no way to get down.

    ….maybe a rope.

Trump has already admitted that “the wall” is subject to negotiation.

Pre-existing conditions – Sarah P. here is your death panel. But, of course, you would not squawk about that, eh?

The problem isn’t government, but government run by Republicans.

Exchanges are NOT “closing down”. Republicans are refusing to extend them, i.e. Kentucky. And insurance companies are still trying to manipulate the system by low-balling early then upping premiums and deductibles so they can make their enormous profits and pay their CEO’s 300% or more of what their low paid employees are making. Then they move their call centers overseas because it’s cheaper, and they can make greater profits and earn more pay and lay off AMERICAN workers!

Who then have to try and health insurance not offered by their previous employer, who criticized Obamacare because they couldn’t make enough money!

If you don’t allow denial due to preexisting conditions, then you have to make insurance mandatory (or otherwise restricted). Otherwise nobody buys it until they need it. Our previous “system” allowed the companies to unfairly close out sick people, but it’s important to be fair the the insurers also. Real life is complicated, sound bites like “Repeal Obamacare” are stupid.

I remember when my insurance premium cost $500 a month with a $1500 deductible for a family of 6. Try finding that price anywhere now, they will laugh you to death.

I wouldn’t expect a party that doesn’t understand global warming, FBI investigations or equality to understand how this could be working. If you have evidence that Healthcare is working, but it was introduced by a black president, you must be wrong. Just ask Fox.

That’s the regressive elephant party, destroy anything that works for the populace or attempts to bring America up to the standards of modern industrial countries.

Someone is delusional. There are millions of us who make too much to get free healthcare yet can’t afford the crap that Obozocare forces on us and fines us if we don’t have. Let’s not even mention that the catastrophic coverage that we can no longer afford had a ridiculous deductible, didn’t cover any meds and no one in town who was supposed to honour it was taking new patients rendering it worthless! Screw you and this administration and BOTH parties!

Those must be the same doctors that refuse to take Medicare and Medicaid patients because those programs rein in medical costs.

This country’s economic growth under Obama is averaging less than it did with Bush 43 (and he had a negative year), coupled with a historically low Workforce Participation Rate… could it be because of Obamacare and it’s massive regulatory burden?

A statement by Trump is 260% more likely to be false than a statement by Secretary Clinton.Hillary is 1150% more likely to make a factual statement than Trump. (FYI This is not a typo — that is 1150%, or one-thousand one-hundred and fifty percent) The less-true something is, the less-apt Hillary is to say it. On the other hand, Trump seems to prefer untruths to truths. If you’re interested, Bernie and Hillary fared similarly. Both made false statements 13% of the time. And Hillary is actually a touch more likely to tell the truth (23% to Sanders’ 15%)… though the difference may not be statistically significant due to the smaller size of the Sanders sample (96 statements rated versus Hillary’s 199).

who exactly, is Obamacare working out for?

It is working quite well for those who had pre-existing conditions that previously could not get insurance.I could think of more but that would require me to be awake right now, which I am not, really.

“…it is NOT working and is a failure when measured against it’s original promises.”.However, when measured against the “system” that preceded it, it’s working much, much better. Just ask those who couldn’t get insurance before.

I suppose it depends on how you define “working”… if you mean people having access to health insurance, then I suppose it’s working. If you mean people having access to actual care that they can actually afford, it’s been a complete disaster. Premiums are much higher than they were for most people; and so are deductibles and other out of pocket expenses. And that’s only going to get worse as more and more exchanges bail out of the system.Basically, people are paying more for insurance, and getting less for what they’re paying. Less choice, less available care, less quality care – and much higher costs.Only in the world of government (and in the minds of liberals) can this be considered a “working” solution.

Yeah, those rates go up. One year our premiums went up 33% from the year before, and then later that year when I turned 50 my premiums went up ANOTHER 30%! Except guess what? That all happened before Obama was even elected. The insurance companies are greedy. Always have been, always will be.
