Whether you agree or not, I applaud any kid ( or adult ) for that matter, who stands up to bullying. The boy was verbally bullying Gracie and, though harsh, she was entitled to her reaction.

So it’s okay to hit a kid with glasses?

You don’t hit someone just because they insulted you. They boy could have her charged for assaulting him. She could have ignored him and walked away. If he touched her then she could have defended herself by hitting him.

You would defend Gracie if she incinerated a stadium of corgis with napalm.

Yeah. A good chunk of bullies out there need a punch to the face, but this is a bit out of hand. She could’ve just scoffed and walked away. THOUGHT SHE WAS A SMARTY PANTS???

You think calling someone names is “verbal abuse”? You must not have had any siblings, that is how they interact. If a girl was that fragile emotionally she would not last long in the adult world.

Gracie is not being abused in this strip at all. She is the abuser.
