After how many years…………… there won’t be any burnt supper tonight………….you have to take the bad with the good ……..where ever it is…….

This is what happens when you send Jack out with the cow to get food. You get nothing but magic beans.

Andy Capp isn’t funny any more. Flo is an abused woman and needs to leave him so she can have her own life. We understand these things now and why addictive-destructive relationships need to end.

Notice how there’s a point to Flo breaking the 4th wall in the classic, but NO point to Andy breaking it in today’s strip? Once again, you get the feeling that they’re patting themselves on the back for a job badly done!
