    Before I retired eight years ago, one of my co-workers was in that predicament as his wife needed to be under his insurance. When he finally did retire, much later than when he was able, he lived less than a year.

    Health insurance? I just want to pay my bills and live in a house and eat food, my family too. (Clothes are also nice, more for the sake of the neighbors lest they have nightmares after seeing me)

    The daughter, who had cancer at 25, is already in job lock for need of insurance.

    Health Insurance, paid vacations (on a week off now), a small pension eventually, all that has kept me at my job for 17 years now

    I’ll be 56 Friday, have no idea how much longer I’ll be working, probably longer than I will want to
