While some are playing with their little puzzles and imposter movie posters, others have been getting themselves awarded some awards.

He could be mistaken for a doctor whose patient is going under the knife.

Welcome, everybody who still wants to play with their little puzzles, as Rotifer put it!

    There’s a good one in

the August 22nd  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

which you can solve on Sherpa, if you like…..

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Or use my handy-dandy side by side version… which I highly recommend …..

    https://i.postimg.cc/wvgVv8Mb/Cleo-nine-differences-Aug-22nd-20.jpg

Cos this one is actually actually kinda big…. and tall…

And kinda hard, I thought, comparatively speaking, though, as ever, your mileage may vary.

If you see a teensy black line at the bottom , it’s not a difference…

it’s just a little piece of the frame I accidentally left, cos some cartoonists don’t leave any space to properly cut them apart.

Cleo is rather wild-eyed around knives, it seems….

So while it might be nice to have a personal Benibasset chef at home…

    (or is that Bassihana?)

    I agree with Claude.

Not only is a losing a finger, or worse, not worth it…

Who knows what a basset will serve as sashimi!

Raw squirrel is not even an acquired taste… or if it is… I have no desire to acquire it.

And I prefer sticky rice to sticky kibble… thanks anyhow.

You beat me to the Bassihana. Cleo does not seem to have the grip needed for these tools, though she has plenty of enthusiasm. I will try the puzzle tomorrow.

Sashimi is raw fish and other seafood per definition. Delicious, especially if it’s hoe (the Korean version). No cooking at the table involved. That’s teriyaki what Cleo is slaughtering there.

But that’s not one of the differences we’re looking for here.

Got them! – The first 7 took me mere seconds, the 8th a little longer – but the 9th was well hidden in one of the usual suspicious places.

Still got two to go. I hope that knife doesn’t get too much closer to Clara from that bottom panel. I notice that Candice ’N Company is also back. Did she get word that Sherpa might be fixed in the next 30 years?

    One more thing.

Since I do not wear a ring for you to kiss, you may instead prostrate yourselves before me as you approach.

P.S. I do not actually practice Real Estate Litigation. However, one must assume that the mysterious people who go around handing out ʟᴀᴡʏᴇʀ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇ ʏᴇᴀʀ awards would know such things. Therefore, they must have assumed that my overall awesomeness would have applied to Real Estate Litigation if I was an actual Real Estate Litigator.

    Ok, puzzlers…

Have you found all the differences while I was… um…. resting my eyes… in my chair?

You do know I did that on purpose, just to give you extra time, right?

    Good.

The things I do for you, my puzzle people.

But before I go off to bed… I will leave you with the lovely animation solution… our weekly .gifT© from

    the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA…

she is stel on the job to make sure your puzzle enjoyment is complete… because she also cares about the puzzle people!

She Can bi so helpful…. sigh…

So be sure you’ve done your best…. and then check YOUR solution against the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA’s animation solution right here:

    https://i.postimg.cc/q7511Zvm/FTD-8-22-2020-AB.gif

    BTW… there’s also a bit of frame in the semi-anonymous animation-solution-maker PERFECTIONISTA’s animation…

a line at the top that flashes in the .gifTŠ, but is obviously not a difference in the puzzle.

I found all nine differences… but the ninth one took me extra time.

The funny thing is… it wasn’t the most invisible.

I think I found the most invisible ones fairly quickly… but a couple of pretty obvious ones eluded me for longer.

    Whish! Whish!

    that’s sorta like “whoosh!” right?

I got 7!!! Hooray! The two that I missed weren’t even that hard. In fact one of them was darn right easy!

Uh, Cheffess Cleo, I prefer my steak Medium-rare with a nice dark crust, and pinkish inside. My veggies cooked so they’re still crisp. Please. Thank you.
