Last time that phrase showed up in a Dana Simpson comic, it went into political commentary. Best not to say more and hope the incident doesn’t repeat.

A longer day means more heat, at least where I live.

Meh, it’s summer…let the kiddos stay up late! I let my son stay up between an hour and an hour and a half longer than he does during the school year, then I let him sleep in. I mean, what’s the point of summer if you can’t enjoy yourself?

Once he becomes an adult, summer break will be no more…unless he’s a school teacher. Might as well enjoy it now!

AND….anybody who Googled yesterday was favored with the information about the Strawberry Moon now showing in a sky near you (a full moon coinciding with the Solstice.) Limited engagement; get your seats early (show starts about 8:31 CT). I just love June! July and August in the Chicago area are just tests of endurance. But June…ah, now THERE’s a month! So, yes, Mom and Dad….let Phoebe stay up long enough to enjoy the Strawberry Moon.
