Destroy a hideous green lamp? That sounds like clear thinking to me.

Allen has seen the light.

All those comments on the weather yesterday…here is what gripes me, Longest day of the year is today, 15 hours and 59 minutes. if they had just put the weather station north of town instead of south, we could boast 16 hour days! Cripes.

pcolli…. I does rather look like levitation…though I’m sure it was meant to show falling.

I think it’s partly that the lamp has shattered before the case has completely landed….making it look like the case is rising from the broken remains.

Maybe some downward swishing lines might have helped?

In any case…. I can’t shed much light on it…cos the lamp is broken, so we’re in the dark.

I can tell you it’s a very inefficient way to change a light bulb.

Bev… how do you manage that?Two weeks ago I got up at 4am to be at the polls by 6, to work election day…and I feel like I’m still recovering.

Of course, I’m up right now at 3:30 am…. so I’m more used to seeing 4am from this side.

I’m with Happy, Happy. I got nothin’ today. I seemed to have misplaced my head.

This is a proper lamp.

I had nothing last night and still have nothing this morning, so here is a “cat lamp”

Allen never did like that lamp. It was a wedding gift (he suspects it was a re-gift) from his Aunt Tillie. She always was a tightwad.
