Statistical analysis shows that texting and driving is actually very safe, with a very low incidence of accidents resulting. I can only assume it is on the order of less than two million to one. If this were not so, insurance companies would already be lobbying for all cars to incorporate Faraday cage technology by embedding a conductive mesh in all vehicular window glass to block radio signal transmission.

I do not think virtual reality training would be very effective. You would be driving differently if you knew it wasn’t real.
