Rat is being an honest politician?

While this is the common perception of the interplay of money and politics, reality is more complicated. When donors aren’t simply giving money to politicians who already have positions that line up with theirs, the money is less for “bought and paid for” than “pay to play”; the money donors give does not ensure results but merely buys access to the decision makers. That’s why incumbents, regardless of which party they belong to, gets the most donations. Money tends to follow power, not power money.

Hey we got rid of that idiot Harper, (GW Bush-North). I moved here to Canada in 1984 when Uncle Ronnie was Prez. I’ve been advocating for the pitch forks for years now in the Excited States of America….

OK!!!! Yes! THIS is funny. But tragedy is the root of all humor.

I believe that the torch represents the light shinning on Article V of the Constitution and the pitchfork represents the grassroots pushing the required 34 states to call for an amending convention to return the power and money to the states from DC. It’s about the legal and safe way back to self-governance.

Honesty will get you nowhere, Rat! Especially as a politician. In fact, the folks with the pitchforks and torches are more likely to come after you first rather than after the slick, lying incumbents (of either party)….

I’d vote for Rat. He’s being honest, something you won’t see from most politicians.

To be fair the Supreme Court didn’t CREATE the problem they just made it much, much worse with Citizens United and its ilk
