So long McCranky, history has passed you by. You don’t want to be the next Robert Byrd anyway. Retire now and we will forgive you for that whole Palin fiasco.
John is almost eighty years old and is running for re-election. I really think there needs to be a retirement age Congress. I never understood his dislike for the President, perhaps he is still upset over losing his bid for the office.
I write a lot of John’s behaviors, for some time, to the PTSD from his years as a POW. We who have it are more symathetic than chickenhawks and fools wrapped in a single package like TRump.
Other commenters have said this, but I feel the need to say it as well :For shame McCain, You were one of the few republicans I had some respect for.You are 80 years old now. Is the possibility few more years in office worth destroying everything you once stood for ? How will you be remembered in history ? The likes of Trump always get exposed for what they are. Take a stand (specially now, when you have so little to lose ) and your reputation will remain untarnished.
Number of Americans killed by foreign terrorists since 9/11: 0They were all either American citizens or long time residents of the US…and they were radicalized in America, not overseas..Put up all the walls and immigration restrictions you want Donny and Johnny, it would be total wasted as far as stopping terrorism goes. We could have had that in place for fifteen years, and wouldn’t have made any difference, not one itty-bitty bit.
Are you volunteering? Great, we need as much input as possible to keep everything working for “we the people” rather the two political parties. Congress has an approval rating barely above 10%, hardy competent and allows lobbyists to write the laws as they’re unable to.

Loyalty to party Trumps all other issue. The GOP is being eviscerated, which is a shame.

When McCain starts bleating about his “principles,” you know he’s up for reelection.
Thanks for Sarah Palin, you wad.

Well, Obama has been to blame for everything else….why should ISIS be different?…just because it’s those Sunnis who were displaced in the Iraq war.
