I remember a King Aroo comic from the 50’s: Most of the characters are standing around with Aroo, looking looking toward the horizon, going, “Wheee!”Another character asks, “What’s going on?”Aroo says, “We’re riding the spinning Earth.”“But the earth turns from West to East, and you’re facing the wrong way.”Everyone turns around. “Wheee!”

At somewhere around 17,000 MPH, the earth is moving pretty fast. Good one, Kenny.
