Cathy Classics by Cathy Guisewite for September 06, 2010
Transcript:
Mom: September's like a brand-new box of file folders! A chance to put everything in order! The long-lost friends... The abandoned projects... The unresolved plot lines of your life... It's all possible in September! Make nice, fresh lists with pristine pens and get everything labeled, stapled and sorted so you can move on! Dad: Mother's been breathing new back-to-school supply fumes. Irving: And they're contagious. Cathy (out of frame): I'LL NEED STICKY NOTES!!

I love September too. To me, it’s more of a start of a new year than January.

Even if you’re not a schoolkid (or a parent thereof) the stores are full of back-to-school supplies on special offer so its not unreasonable that Cathy’s mom stocked up.
I got stuff for my kid and my husband cheap. Not for me, I only do ‘vertical filing’

I have all the regular supplies. The only thing of those I buy regularly are printer cartdiges (and stacks of DVDs and white envelopes for them) for all my TV series.
