At a nameless, college(university)in middle Indiana, there was a dessert served ‘Aunt Jane’s Cherry Crisp’. It could not be forced out of its bowl and was sent back to the kitchen decorated in all manner of ways ! Couldn’t be eaten, either ! ! !
The old lime jello with shredded carrots that floated to be he top. It was ubiquitous in the 60s. I heard a comedian say it looked like an aquarium with dead goldfish in it.
Once when I was in the hospital, they brought me lime jello…..and I bent the spoon trying to get a bite of it….if you remember the old Disney movie The Absent Minded Professor….where they invent Flubber…..that’s what the Jello reminded me of….

In high school and college, (Ohio University), Jell-O oftentimes had a crust.At OU, we could get it to stick to the ceiling!
