@Queen, ooh ouch your poor finger. My brother broke his finger once and it was splinted for 2 1/2 months. Hope yours heals up quickly or is at least less painful soon. And good news on Calvin, fingers crossed he can go up for adoption this weekend.

Good morning everyone. Has anyone else noticed that if you don’t greet your house cats in the proper order “someone” gets offended and is grumpy the rest of the day? Might just be my group of 7 but….

Last night HRH Prince Whine-a-lot, aka Dean, threw a right stroppy tantrum that was worthy of a tired toddler. He was already cranky because Sammy ate his wet food (too busy yapping at me to eat it), I cleaned all his toys into the basket (he was playing with those you know) then went outside to water the flowers without him (how dare I). Then once I’d let him out on the back deck I had the audacity to make him come in before he wanted to (it was starting to get dark) so he all but threw himself on the floor and very loudly wailed about his horrible life. Good thing they can’t talk or I’m sure some very colourful language would have been thrown in my direction

I went to see Secret Life of Pets last night.By the time that the movie was over i was feeling very guilty about leaving Sweetheart home alone.

bbearParakeets/chicken made me laugh out loud, which meant I had to share it with Dale, and in turn he chuckled about it for a good ten minutes!I always thought that guy and his cat were…….well…..

Poppet Bear: Not only would you have heard some salty language, but I bet he would have called the ASPCA to report the horrible abuse he suffers.

@Queen….read last night’s comments first and am sorry to hear about your broken finger. 6 months of swelling is a loooong time. Damn.-————-And the little black kitten your friend rescued is ADORABLE. I started to think of ‘Carbon’, the little black, and, now, rich kitten you helped get adopted. -————-Glad to hear that Calvin’s eyes are fine now…and that he may soon bring joy to a future caring adopter.
