I’m a guy and I’m not understanding Charlie Brown’s code of “suiting-up.”

I don’t understand any of Charlie Brown’s codes. When he gives all those large signals at baseball. Not even a math homework is that complicated… oh wait, I may be going too far, but still.

Just look at their “suits!” Their hat is their entire “suit!” Their gloves and bat are their equipment.

When you don’t win any ball games, the only thing you’ve got left is suiting up and looking good.

Does Sally ever go to the games?

I suspect that the point of this comic is that men can be just as “irrationally” particular as women about what they wear and how they wear it. They just choose different occasions for acting that way.

If its a sunny day game the cap angle may be important. Black soot under the eyes seems to help some.

Actually, the true pickiness is in some of the pro leagues, where players can be fined for wearing their socks wrong or other “major infractions”!
