DOC TOON I was four days into detox from your mind altering NUC COFFEE when BESTEST BIG SISTER called me out for maintaining my addiction by substituting Dunkin Donut’s blend.. After tossing helplessly, I broke down at ten and started a pot.
At six this morning I jumped out of bed and skipped to the kitchen with a smile on my lips and a song in my heart. There it bubbled like the third level of Dante’s inferno. I scraped a cup out and felt my resolve melt.
Now the Questions DOC. I immediately crashed my computer for two hours. I expected the super powers (mutation) brought by the WORLD FAMOUS BREW would give me magical vision to see every face in THOM’S creation. I got nuttin! Not even a **NUC COFFEE drinking mouth. Where are my pills?
Slow drinkers, look at all the “sweat” from their glasses.
I used to drink a soda in the mornings, but now I can’t drink any sodas at all. They just don’t taste the same anymore. I’m a coffee drinker now, but my beverage of choice is iced tea.
I can’t have caffeen at all. I’m even allergic to chocolate:(
Hubby though likes his coffee. I use water for morning pills.
In my early 20’s tried coffee with creamer didn’t like it.
Pop for me I can taste salt.
I’m with Doc. When I get up the first thing I do is fix my coffee. I didn’t start drinking it until I was in my thirties because I didn’t like the flavor. Once I discovered espresso I realized that the reason I hadn’t liked it in the past was that it was made to be weak, now I have it very strong and untainted by milk or any other additive.
Faces under the green bird’s beak, and in the top of his drink. Maybe another one on the left bird’s left wing? (And would that make it his wingman???)
Alan V, I thought Southern iced tea was sweetened tea. I was born in SC but I prefer my tea unsweetened with a squeeze of lemon…and I prefer my weather cool. :-D
i drink Lipton’s Brisk iced tea or lemonade. i will drink either tea or coffee for my caffeine fix, and only use coke to mix with my rum. alcoholic beverages i do enjoy, and won’t bore by naming all of them. i try to stay away from sodas (or pop, as we Canucks refer to it) because i weigh enough as it is and don’t need the extra caloric intake.

Doctor Toon, my wake up drink is Pepsi….it has been for years. I haven’t had coffee since my mid-twenties. That’s over 25 years ago.

Carmy - Southern Iced Tea, or Sweetened Iced Tea? :D I prefer Sweetened Iced Tea myself.
I don’t drink coffee or tea, and I’m attempting to cut back on my pop intake. I may have to start taking caffeine via IV.

Sweetened tea is nice, Southern iced tea is what my lovely female accomplice brews and I call “diabetes-flavored”.
