Actually, while the hat is pretty strange, it has its good points….

Elsie is obviously into crafting, and do-it-yourself…she can entertain herself with the odd bit of feathers and a couple of garage sale Christmas ornaments…

So the upside is, she might be what horsemen call an “easy keeper.”Someone who won’t whine for baubles from Tiffany’s, or get into a snit every birthday and have to be placated with diamond bracelets.

Of course, if it goes really well and you end up together…you might wake up one day in a room with 27 framed pictures, purple velvet curtains, and a papier mache lamp…and realise every inch of the house is decoupaged, gilded, antiqued and glittered.Which is only a downside if that bothers you.
