um… how does one accidentally flush a sock down the toilet?

They joy generally fades after the first 2 years because the brain runs low on that hormone that made you both feel so good.

dating can be exciting because it is an escape from your normal life. Then when we fall in love we share that normal life. You have to find escapes together now.

in the meantime, the missing sock mystery is one step closer to being solved.

No matter how rough the day, no matter how many problems come up, no matter the distractions, arguments, stress, and fatigue…if you remember to kiss your spouse and tell them that you love them ( and mean it ! ) then the “magic” will always be there.

yep some marriage are real and some are illusionary. and don’t have any depth to them. as they say, it takes two to tango.

33 years here, and still going strong.

Never go to bed angry, even if you have to sit up late to work out an issue.

I didn’t know we were having a marriage longevity competition here. I’ll bid 59 years.

Husband and I have 35 years. The first year husband devoted to his elderly mom I only saw him one hour. Our honeymoon I was with him longer. I then determined for our future children when and if married they have their married life to themselves, I did not want to happen to me to them. Now both ours adults not married no empty nest.

Our 47th anniversary is next Tuesday. My advice….overlook the small stuff. Address the big stuff.

Next month, 26 years. We met on Jury Duty. We had the same convictions!
