The Shadow. Boston Blackie. Duffy’s Tavern. The Bowery Boys. The Little Rascals. Life With Luigi. The Great Gildersleeve. I know some of these made it to TV, but we didn’t have a TV and anyway, some of the magic went out of things when your imagination was taken away.In small towns in Texas, picture shows (movie theaters) stopped the movie when Fibber Magee and Molly came on the radio and played the show to the audience. That was the only way they could get people to come to the theater on Saturday night.
just stand closer to the light source & further from the building. Happy shadow will be tall & skinny & you can go about your evening in peaceful denial :)
Single, most effective exercise for overweight folks … push self away from table. Hydrate your system, cinnamon to reduce blood sugar. Get off the couch and WALK. [ 1/2 hour daily] dropped 35lbs
Old Texan75Not Archer City, perchance? (Last Picture Show, book and movie). Actually this was quite common in those days, and the better ones scheduled their features so there was no need to stop the movie for the broadcast.
