During the sermon Andy takes out his pocket watch, opens it, shkes it, bangs it on the pew, looks at it and shakes his head

I should think Andy would want the sermon to be as long as possable.

    A longer nap you know.

That isn’t enough time to get into REM sleep Andy. You’d better revise that estimate.

It’s not that Andy wants to sleep in church, he figure’s getting out earlier will allow him to get more.

Old joke: The young boy noticed that at every service, as the pastor stood at the pulpit for the sermon, the pastor would take place his wristwatch on the pulpit. Finally, the boy asked his father: “Daddy, what does it mean when the pastor places his wristwatch on the pulpit?” Daddy’s response was a sigh and: “Not a thing son, not a thing.”

There was a country pastor who would start his sermon at 11:30 and preach until he heard the whistle of the 12 o’clock train. Unfortunately, one Sunday the train was an hour late.Another pastor would put a breath mint in his mouth and preach until it was all gone… until one Sunday he accidently put a shirt button in his mouth. The board of elders made him change that habit.
