It all began when my great great grandparents were born.I strenuously objected because they were all fat and ugly. And now after 4 generations I’m hideous and obese.

Neanderthals and humans could successfully mate, so we all have a little Neanderthal in our genes..

There should be a guy with a banjo right in front of the guy with the spear. (Musician humor.)

Walking catfish are still around, and apparently running for Congress, ’higher office" foreign and domestic, are CEOs in various corporations, managing the MIC, and other cold blooded opportunities they love, and are apparently fit for.

resealableDon’t knock the banjo. Serious composers have written for it. Ferde Grofé used it when orchestrating Rhapsody in Blue and Gershwin used it in Porgy and Bess.

Hillary actually made a sensible suggestion the other day: put mental health care on par with physical heath care. (Let’s not start with that physical health care needs improvement – whatever your point on it – conceded for the moment).

Maybe if a few more people had mental health covered on their insurance they would have found some other way to deal with their frustrations other than picking up a gun and shooting a bunch of people.

Hmm, Hillary. Well even a blind squirrel can occasionally find a nut. One point for the devil this time.

No wonder he needs a shrink if he thinks we evolved from pond scum. Humans are the only created beings with a worship instinct. We were created with an eternal soul in the image of God. No self-esteem problems for me – I’m the child of a king!

annette143NotMeSounds like thosde people back in the ’60s who, literally and with no trace of satire, had bumper stickers saying, “Help Stamp Out Mental Health”.

A great trilogy is called The Neanderthal Parallax by Robert J. Sawyer. A summary is in Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Neanderthal_Parallax#References . What would have happened if the Neanderthals survived and Homo Sapiens died out instead?
