You gave birth to it, it is yours lol.But seriously this is the first I’ve seen where it’s the father saying the “your kid” line. Usually it’s the mother saying it.

I see this as proof that Hobbes is alive and not Calvin’s imagination

If it was is real life that would be one massive cannonball.

At age 6, Calvin might not know this. But, the Navy would “sound general quarters”, not “red alert”.

When I got around to reading today’s strip, there were 32 comments. The carrier is CV-32. Coincidence? I think not….

Whenever they are spectacular they are her girls. Whenever the bath tub overflows, the cats are screaming, the guillotine is out and being used or the house is on fire or the police are visiting, they are my girls.

That reminds me of when Peter Griffin from Family Guy made a water slide in the house. And also when he cannonballed in the pool.

CV 32 was the USS Leyte. Commissioned Apr 11, 1946 and decommissioned on Apr 15, 1959. Just a bit before Calvin’s time.
