Since there have been no recent earthquakes in Kuala Lumpur, Gina’s charity is clearly a scam. As a staffer for the school newspaper, Nate should investigate.

No recent tremors in Kuala Lumpur.
Puffins are not endangered but they are threatened by human activities and uncontrolled tourism can be harmful to puffin colonies because they need solitude to breed. People who get too close may scare off parents from their duties of feeding their chick.
Gina unwittingly birdnapped a threatened creature and is bragging about it disruptively by showing off her new cell phone in class.
Why doesn’t Godfrey grow up and give Gina detention?
