I know how Puck feels—I get territorial of my chair at work and can’t stand it when someone steals it if I step out of the office.

My cats just have to see the spray, and they know to back away.

I love their fangs sticking out! And also Beatrix taking pictures of the event. Hopefully she is taking a video and not just pictures.

Is it a real fight, or just play wrestling? Our little female is forever pouncing on our big male to initiate a wrestling match. We know it’s not a real fight because the ears aren’t pasted back, the pupils aren’t dilated, and there’s no screaming or growling. Also, get a second perch!

One of my furry babies will lay down in front of the other to start playing. After a few days, it turns into a fight and then I have to break it up.

I too love the little fangs. On a slightly-related subject, I was able to preorder the 2018 calendar and did so, salving the bruises inflicted by not being able to get my very own Dunn original a few weeks ago. Available on Amazon and I believe right from the publisher, Andrews Mcmeel.

Freeze tag combat ! All the uncles going crazy, and little Bea is just the girl to record it for posterity. Georgia, that phrase is just perfect-my girls do the same thing.

My boys do the same thing. One is getting older and is becoming mean sometimes. He and one of his brothers will be all curled up sleeping and in a split second the older one is whomping on the other. It’s not play tag, it’s fight club. I have to step in (I throw mousies at them) and in a minute they’re curled up again. When it’s play tag, we call it “smack-bat” because one will bat at the other until he gets smacked upside his head.

I wonder sometimes what my neighbours must think as my 2 Maine Coon x bruisers scrap it out on their tree stand and window perch as to who gets to sit where, frequently smashing into the window as well as the wall – I’m surprised the window hasn’t been broken yet. Of course, 10 minutes later they’re usually curled up together fast asleep

The we had Isadora (she danced) and Li’l Bitte (Siamese/Burmese) who always shared a window hammock to sunbathe.
