Puck: It's a spectacular bounty, Elvis! Oh, excuse me! Elvis: Lupin, the Woman has foraged through the great wilds of the grocery story, gathering nuts, berries, and cheese doodles. Still no sign that she visited the kibble orchard, though. Did you buy treats? I heard something crinkle. Puck: The sea has been generous! Elvis: Surely one of these could have been ham! Woman: Pucky, what are you doing? Puck: Would you do me the honor of being my can opener?

Hello, Everyone!!
I left a comment yesterday, but it was late in the day and I wanted to let readers here know that today (Friday, February 17th) at noon Pacific time I will be opening up my Etsy shop (link here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/GeorgiaDunnStudio ) and offering ten commission spots for a 5×7 inch original watercolor painting of your pets as BCN reporters at a desk! Thanks for your Great cartoon strip. I take it this is preparation for Thanksgiving! I love all the stories, Christmas specials, and Our 1X lives is so hilarious but they all are. Then the Halloween special with Tilly and Freddie, so funny and such a tear jerker. Please try to get these specials into book form. They would sell like hot cakes!

Our ragdoll mix Poodle Boo loves to look for the cans of catfood she mrrrrs and chirps questions, and the “Quacks” with joy upon finding her cans. Finally she must rub her cheek on each can, marking them as “Hers” despite the fact there are 3 other cats besides her.

I don’t remember this one—and on the BCN site, the episode after ‘Elvis in Buttertown’ is not this one. It’s the first appearance of a much-loved new character.

When I put the recycleable grocery bags on the table Jingle Bell Katt is RIGHT THERE sticking her head into the bags to see what I brought home. After I empty the bags I put them on the floor and she crawls into them. At least once she went dashing across the floor with the carry loop around her neck and the bag dragging behind her!

Everything about these strips is wonderful, but this is one of my all time favorites. Pucky bumping into the pineapple and excusing himself, the crawl at the bottom, foraging for cheese doodles, the kibble orchard…just brilliant. Georgia, I am not alone in greatly appreciating the work you put in here, the generous gift of your time, and your utterly original, quirky, warm genius. Not a day goes by that you don’t bring a smile to me…yesterday it was hopped the train to buttertown, today, the sea has been generous. I will be at your etsy site to do some foraging of my own…
