There’s a difference?

About 2 or more times Elvis has broke rules.

Soup would probably also contain chunks of tomato, while juice is just the … well, juice.

Elvis is a good boy who deserves to break the rules.

When Elvis gets out, the outcome is almost always interesting. (when it isn’t, we don’t hear of it)

If you can’t tell the difference you aren’t adding enough cream.

I’ve heard that tomato juice (or soup, I suppose) actually doesn’t work as well for this purpose as advertised, but then I’ve never tried it myself (never had a need, thankfully).

Tomato Juice is much thiner than Tomato Soup. On the other hand, canned Tomato Soup and Tomato Sauce are identical.

Rub the tomato soup into the fur, wash off with soda water. Worked for our Siberian. Then she found out she liked the taste and we were in trouble.

Tomato soup/juice baths DO NOT solve the problem. There are plenty of recipes for non-toxic solutions for bathing a pet if they get “beaten up” by a skunk, just use the Googles.

I think Puck should get some sort of reporting award for his bravery in getting so “close” to this story.

How to remove the odor of skunk: 1 qt hydrogen peroxide 3%, 1/4 cup baking soda, 1-2 tsps liquid dish detergent. Mix all together in a bowl. Before using place in eyes a protective eye ointment. Wear old clothes and latex gloves. Place skunked pet in tub, massage solution into the fur. Let sit for 4-5 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat if necessary. Do not store left over solution. Discard. Your pet will now be socially acceptable again.

P.S.: This must be done as soon as possible or it will take longer to get rid of the odor.

My mom used Dial shampoo (no longer available) on our St. Bernard. It worked like a charm! But it was lucky that she had bought extra – our dog was huge!
