Are you sure he isn’t just going for 70’s Luke Cage?

I’m surprised that no one thinks posting selfies to the internet with all your GPS info isn’t part of some grand surveillance scheme.

There would be a teacher there, usually two, so he wouldn’t get away with it….Great idea, though…

Teacher looking at school pics is heard to ask,‘Who is that kid?’Another says, ‘Oh, that’s just (insert name) cleaned up.’Been there, done that.

I find it interesting that the selfies look like Polaroids.

The ‘check your ancestry/DNA" bit could easily become a big brother surveillance project. The Gangsta’ types wouldn’t do it, but someone in their family might,

Interesting use of polaroid pictures. I guess that’s in line with how age of the Mod Squad.

I find it curious that this little, kid, no matter how bright he is, knows about a fairly short-running series from the ’60s.

Ah, Linc Hayes. Played by Clarence Williams III. Oh how I loved that show!

I am very curious how Jeff or the kid even KNOW about Linc on Mod Squad? I could believe Luke Cage but Cage never wore shades had a metal head band and the shirt open to his waist.

The strip doesn’t actually say that Caulfield recognizes the Mod Squad reference. He may be mentally noting it to look up later. They had an early story arc where Caulfield had drawn a goatee on his face—with indelible pen, right before class picture day. He showed up for the photographer with a paper bag on his head (face drawn on.) The photographer told him that he could erase the marks (I don’t know if this was Photoshop or some previous program.) They ended up having a lot of fun with the program—and with Mrs. Olsen’s picture!
