Well, that’s no ordinary rabbit. That’s the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on! Look, that rabbit’s got a vicious streak a mile wide! It’s a killer!

Why is she so scared of rabbits?

He’s a beagle. Beagles are supposed to be rabbit dogs like pointers are bird dogs.

RoseHawke is right. Beagles are rabbit dogs. They can’t help themselves. Snoopy must have missed receiving those genes.

That was a leaf? I thought it was some sort of ornament hanging from the tree, though it was obviously the answer. I tried to find an alternate explanation reasoning “nah, it can’t be that simple”. 30 seconds of my life wasted (plus another 45 seconds typing this) :P

Was the private detective named Tom? Then this mystery would be about Tom, Dick and Harry

Snoopy is not merely the only one in their neighborhood who can save them, but the only one in the world? And I thought HE had an over-active imagination!

2nd Mystery. If she hasn’t seen the guy sense before she was married, how does the detective have any pictures at all?

3rd Mystery. I am not totally sure the gumshoe can be arrested. He was hired to take photos and he altered them (presumably at the husband’s request). Hired to provide a service and did so. He took I suppose there might be some trespassing or stalking law the PI could have violated, but some photos and turned them over to a guy that hired him. unless and until he has testified (usually under oath), he probably can’t be arrested

I wonder if Frieda was as insistent that her lazy, boneless cat chase mice?

They’re in trouble. And Snoopy doesn’t care.

they might mess up her naturally curly hair!

Ugh, that movie! But there is an even more grotesque one, so don’t ask.
