TV: KRUNCH JOJO: Is pro foot ball a risky career Uncle Marcus? Joe: Jojo in my experience.... growing up with eleven brothers was way riskier! TV: Marcus Glover has had a full recovery from off season surgery... JOJO: You had to have an operation uncle Marcus? Marcus: Yup. I had a deviated septum. JOJO: whats that? Marcus: a snowball thrown by Clarence! We were kids as usual, I was pummeling the guy... when he got in one lucky shot! FOOMP! and I ended up with breathing issues that jeopardized my football career! Glover is not healthy.... JOJO: So...youre all better now, right? Marcus: we'll see we have a grudge match this january.

The septum is the cartilage between the nostrils in the nose. A deviated septum is one with a hole in the cartilage. That would not normally cause breathing problems while awake. Asleep at night is another story. My brother snores like you wouldn’t believe because of his deviated septum. Of course there are always exceptions, but unless the deviation is way back up inside the nasal passages, it wouldn’t cause a problem for a football player. It also would not be caused by a snowball to the face.

I’d make sure I had a goalie’s mask or catcher’s mask before that rematch Uncle Marcus.
