I don’t think Brad’s little craft project really helps with the big picture…the problem being, of course, that he can’t see the forest for the trees.
But there is a side benefit he has derived from making so many of them….When the Christmas season arrives, any time he and Marcia get in that special “holiday” mood…they can each tape a pair to their heads, and enjoy a cozy night of… you know… playing little “reindeer games.”
Bev….yes… I see that at a spa in Japan, the whole family can indulge…together.
Apparently, they use fake noodles, and real pork broth, which they say will add collagen to the skin.
But the young lady in your post appears to be using real ramen.Looks like she’s leaving out the seasoning packets, though…Doesn’t she want to get the benefit of all that collagen?
FYIIm taking the week of October 10 to October 14 off.I plan to be home the evening of the 13th.I will take my laptop with me, and the person I’m visiting has wifi, but i don’t know how much time i will have to check in.If i do it will be here and/or Ten Cats and/or Citizen Dog.I will probably update things on fb, so my Ten Cats fb friends may update stuff for me.
JP Steve and Rose…Hey, I just reports ‘em; I doesn’t writes ’em.
I do know that Japanese baths often involve a pre-soak sponge bath…I hope that a post-pork-broth-soak one would also be included.Otherwise, among other results, dogs (and maybe hungry people) would follow you down the street.
I also note that the family pictured are actually wearing bathing suits…which are now presumably pork-scented…but which may have prevented …um… unauthorised pork intrusion…or at least…. let’s say noodle invasion.
And BTW… what is the point of the fake noodles?
I guess merely amusement…and to be cute. The Japanese seem very big on “cute.” I’ve seen some videos where Japanese people rate clothing, bento boxes, or other items…and “cuteness” is a factor. An actual baby sort of cuteness, like Hello Kitty or some manga characters…not what women mean here when we say a blouse or a pair of shoes is “cute.”Speaking of cute…Happy..love the rabbit knight.
