Mr. Rat what do you hope that people will learn about you in the course of tonight's debate?
Rat: That I can lie as well as these two.
so lying is now a virtue.
Rat: Who said anything about lying?
conservatives, liberals all have a planto make themselves richoff the common manit’s power they wantto control me and youto make us all dancewhen they tell us too-so don’t be fooled voterinto thinking they knowhow to fix everythingincluding the snowtry to find someonewho has actually donesomething other than a lie spun-and if you are diligentresourceful and patientignore all the half truthsand the media storiesyou may find someonewho truly has worthto represent youfor the political berth-and then againprobably not
I’m also fascinated by which politicians inspire such rabid hatred that more lies are told about them than they themselves could ever concoct. And this time around, the number of lies (that can quickly and easily be proved to be lies) that one politician can tell in one day. Or one speech. Or one sentence. I think those planning to vote for the indisputable all time greatest in this category must regard this as a virtue. Their standard comeback is that ALL politician’s lie. But not all the time, nonstop, 24/7, boldly and proudly. This is a historical first for American politics.
Hey, now, the Supreme Court has ruled that it’s okay for politicians to lie to us. What does anyone expect? What do you call an honest politician? An oxymoron.
