Yesterday, Moonpie commented that Exner and Tedford were exhausted. R-R-Right Marty. Your small market share hangs on your every sentence. Take your Maynard G. Krebs look onto the field. Maybe Gil will give you the post game interview.
For Ravenswing: Never take running for a touchdown a sure thing. Look at that one Canadian Football game where that defensive player had a clear path for a sure touchdown and he without anybody touching him fumbled the ball away on the one year line. Marcus Tedford may have himself an easy touchdown but let’s wait for tomorrows comic strip to see if he did some boneheaded thing like fumbling it.
17 was hit by Cody P2, and he is a great athlete and gets up and is a player in pursuit of the INT. What happened to Cody, he should have flattened him with a block once the INT occured.
Yesterday, as this last Oakwood possession began, Cody wore No, 55 and Marcus wore No. 52. Probably in the defensive huddle they quickly changed jerseys to confuse the Oakwood team, but they forgot to change all the velcro’d shoulder numbers or else they ran out of time. Anyway, it was a great trick and I hope there is no rule against it in the official handbook.

“But here comes Don Beebe, Jr. down the sideline and strips the ball!”

Or maybe he prematurely lets go of the ball before he crosses the goal line, Oakwood scoops it up and heads back in the other direction…

The White Power guy will have a clear shot at Tedford as he streaks toward the goal line.
Then again, based on P3, Tedford has done a classic Gil Thorp pigment shift, so the shooter may want to reconsider.

Uniform “Blooper”…..In P1, looks like Cody has #55 on chest, but #52 on Sleeve??

Hey bearwku: Go a little easy on the Maynard G. Krebs putdowns, OK?

Hey bobcat, number 55 in your hearts, number 52 on your sleeves? Good catch.

I smell a late-hit penalty coming up….

P2 – look closely at Tedford’s uni. The 5 is on his left shoulder, and the 2 is on his right shoulder.
And in P2, Exner has 5 on his left shoulder as well.
So in a single strip, Exner is nos. 5, 52, and 55. Impressive.
