He must have just cleaned his window.

Flying into a window is such a birdbrained idea.

In cities, all those windows are a real problem for birds. Alas.

I did this in a lawyer’s office once. They cleaned their sliding glass door so well that you couldn’t even tell it was there…until you ran into it.

This would make a great Windex commercial

I didn’t know “FOOP” was the sound of a bird hitting the window, until now.

And yesterday, I thought it was FUNNY to add more greetings to the mix. Are they overdone on this comic, yeah, but…

I had no idea some people here took the comics so seriously that they all got deleted. And some who leave comments, took it in stride. Grog was especially funny in greeting me back. Thanks, Grog you made my day. :)

They can be such a pane to the birds…

I know you don’t have to have clean windows to get birds to fly into them. I hate to wash windows, so I do it maybe every few years, depending on the window. We still get birds flying into them frequently.

I think gocomics should institute a “thumbs up” as well as a flag rating. Obviously, deleting obscene, spam or harassment of artists and/or other posters are needed, but deleting the posts that fall under the merely annoying category seem rather subjective. In those cases, a “thumbs up” rating higher than the number of “flags” might be able to show the moderators that the posts are only offensive to a small, cranky, minority.

What do you cave dwellers think of that proposal?

Rmom, I think that’s a great idea. I certainly would not define someone who says good morning as something offensive. Those flags are there for offensive posts, usually against other individuals and of course the neverending spam.

With a bigger one of those bird catchers, you can catch people too.

IMHO, I enjoy being cheerful and nice through my posts. I can’t see where any broadening of the definition of spam would include being nice with a greeting. I don’t like when posters complain so much, but I don’t read the posts of the ones that do it on a regular basis.

@Rmom - You are a genius! And Grog is right. I only flag spammers. Sadly, getting a flag almost sounds like a good thing.

They did it again to me with the greeting! Unreal……………….

Pseudonymous, maybe those meds will help me to not care when they delete my greetings, too. They might even make me forget how to renew my “Genius” membership! :^)
