Funny, I noticed he wanted to keep only part of them. Personally, I think allowing all to expire might be better - the money from them is not particularly significant on the personal level, and might be better left to handle the deficit and/or for more valuable programs.
Libertarian1 says this will “ENCOURAGE class envy and split the people.” In my middle class world, we envy the wealth of the top 2%, and know we have little in common with them.

That is where the top 2% is and you support them. They worked hard to achieve their gains. Envy is one of the deadly sins.
