The automobile was considered a great boon to the environment, as it cleared the streets of the copious piles of horse manure with which they had been paved previously.

Along with a reduction in anaerobic bacteria, such as those causing gangrene, came a reduction in the flies that fed the frogs that applauded the progress of man.

Since that time, the word “Progressive” has been tied to a movement to bring back streets paved with gold.

Legitimate historians are uncertain as to whether this was used as a benediction or a malediction. The illegitimate historians are still grinding away with it.

.. early sketch up of Bob Dylan’s Slow Train Coming’s lp cover art..…West World’s robot kids have to draw something……my homemade pumpkin video recorder is going to sell once I get some seed money……looks like Terry’s train of thought went a little off track……my old Daniel Boone raccoon tail hat didn’t need no flaps…… tinsel? Back in my day we didn’t need no tinsel…we just stuck chewing tobacco in our ears……my Sergeant licks his privates……up his little sleevies’…

… it’s art because without specifically telling us we can assume it’s the old west…

Tinsel Town is a television drama co-produced by BBC Scotland. Produced and broadcast in the wake of 1999’s controversial TV drama Queer as Folk, and promoted as a “Scottish version” of that series, Tinsel Town was defined by its broadcaster as “a cutting-edge saga of life and love in Glasgow club land”.

Carriages powered by engines will never catch on. They are an abomination, and they frighten the horses. You just mark my words. This foolishness will soon come to an end.
