    Unfortunately unless you are a hard science major this strip is totally dead on. A lot of degrees just prove you are capable of learning and that is what gets you hired.

    Mark this, I agree with you this once. The Plutocrats have been changing our country in a singular way since 1980 and are still at it. Elimination of the Middle Class, cheapen the pay for the work force with just a very thin layer of the expert class, still aiming us back to a plantation nation only the slaves will be white. The other “races” will have their own ethno-states like in former apartheid S. Afrikaa—their bantustands. Though the military will be needing bodies, though by 2030 our military expects to have nearly 60% replaced by robot-drones. That is what the coming Holy American Empire will need. Resource mining stealing from other countries to have it.

    Not 100% correct regarding only the hard science majors — you can also learn stuff in other majors that’s applicable. However, if you’re in a major where there are not that many job opportunities, then you’re just proving that you can learn. The “car guys” always joked about art history majors, for example (although I know at least one that did find a job related to her field). :)
