I’m guessing that like everyone who says they’ll move EVERY election cycle… you’ll just stay where you are. And why shouldn’t you? If you love your country you would never abandon it or it’s citizens simply because you don’t like the leader. If everyone did that over the course of time, how many citizens would we even have?

Yeah, I hate Donnie, but I’m not going anywhere. Tricky Dixon didn’t drive me out and neither will Donnie and the Deplorables.

Those that proclaim they will, actually won’t, because of convenience, or lack thereof. Tolerance of intolerance and bigotry is not an option elsewhere.

The problem is that politician’s attempts to ‘fix our problems’ can destroy the freedoms and opportunities that made this country great.

instead of leaving why not just give Trump a couple of months. IMVPO I believe that he will have more wars with the GOTP than the DemsThen of course we have the elephant in the room. What if he goes with GOTP congress and screws over the people who voted for him expecting jobs, good high paying jobs, increasing Social Security, and fixing the infrastructure. None of those items are on the GOTP list. Instead, privatize medicare, cut social security while raising retirement age to 74 and then privatizing VA health care.I foresee a battle where we discover if the GOTP wins or if Trump, the one the workers elected wins(not forgetting big tax cut for rich)

And bilingualism in Anglais & French is virtually required as well.

No chance. Congress has opposed everything for so long, they don’t know how to do anything. I fear fascism because I grew up seeing it in action. However, the kids are grown and on their own, so unlike the ’60-70s, the blacklists are no longer a threat, I have far exceeded my actuarial life expectancy, so this time, I will stay and fight.

There has long been a semi-secret points system for admittance. Unless you are moving an entire factory system (and Studebaker was before this time) and have bilingual top administrators, it is highly unlikely you will have a high enough score to pass the test for “landed immigrant” (their green card) status. Visit, but don’t go looking for a house.
