Capital punishment? Oh no, not SHOUTING!

Usually it’s the other way around. I want it warmer and my wife wants it much colder.

Older people over 70 or 80 are like that, they want the setting to be the same number as their age.

Now that is strict!

I lived all my life in Georgia, and married a woman from Wisconsin. When I am freezing, she’s sweating….er, perspiring.

My sister keeps it much too cold for me, both in winter and summer. She carries about 200 pounds of extra insulation, which makes a whale of a difference!

She must be passed menopause.

Another reason i’m so happy to be single! Nobody but ME messes with MY thermostat. And my cats are all in when I decide I want it comfy warm in the house. They couldn’t reach the thermostat even if they wanted to adjust it anyway.

Ebenezer Charlie here…Cold is Cheap…Warmth costs money!…

I have a sister in law who likes to keep their house at 85 or so…and even then she is cold.

She tells me it must be expensive to keep my place at 70 all year, and sure in the summer months it peaks for 3 months or so, but in the winter…dirt cheap. For them, they have the opposite, 9 months of expensive and 3 months of dirt cheap.

I like it!

At a “certain age” I think we all ought to live alone. That would solve a lot of problems.

Ah yes thermostat wars…I am with you Opal up it goes….

We keep the temperature down in the bedroom. Dual electric blankets are wonderful. Also, have a lap-size electric blanket, equally as wonderful.
